A maintenance technician's duties may include: 

  • Use prints, service manuals, and parts catalogs to identify and fix malfunctioning equipment.
    To carry out precision machining tasks, set up, modify, and run all of the fundamental machine tools as well as numerous specialized or sophisticated variation tools. 
    Fix and maintain facilities and utilities. 
    To guarantee that machinery keeps operating smoothly and building systems function effectively, perform routine preventive maintenance. 
    Keep track of all repairs and maintenance done, along with additional details like the parts used or required, the time in service, and the status of completion. Using computer templates or verbal communication when needed with other shifts
