We’re looking for a Hydraulic Designer who will be responsible for ensuring that the hydraulic components and systems in crane new sales projects fulfill the specifications stated in the main project documents.

The position will be located in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Perform hydraulic calculations, 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and specifications of hydraulic components and hydraulic systems.
  • Release hydraulic drawing documents by predetermined milestones in the ERP system
  • Be responsible for the follow-up of hydraulic-related revisions in main project documents.
  • Store and maintain hydraulic system drawings and component data sheets in the PLM system
  • Handle hydraulic-related issues from production, commissioning, and customers.
  • Participate in R&D projects or lead projects within the LMS Design department.
  • Participate in crane commissioning or troubleshooting in the field when required.
  • Make inspections of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Find cost-effective solutions that fulfill stipulated requirements.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, specialization in Hydraulics, or similar experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant product/business experience
  • Knowledge of hydraulic components and hydraulic system design
  • Flexible and problem-solving with analytical qualities
  • Be able to develop and present new and innovative solutions
  • Adapt easily to new techniques
  • Good cooperation and communication skills
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
