Hydraulics Qualification Based on Competence

Join us for our CETOP Qualifications conducted in person at the National Fluid Power Centre, where our expert NFPC Training Engineers with extensive experience in fluid power systems maintenance and management will guide you through the intricacies of hydraulic systems. We aim to equip candidates with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of hydraulic system components, their functions, operations, and their role within a functioning circuit.

Through our program, participants will enhance their communication skills by gaining a deeper understanding of relevant terminology and key aspects of health and safety, leading to improved safety practices in working with and around hydraulic systems. The qualification process includes a rigorous examination, requiring candidates to demonstrate their proficiency through a 2-hour written test covering Stage 1 topics (with a passing grade set at 60%).

Candidates will also undergo individual assessments, where they will demonstrate their practical abilities in the following areas:

a) Interpretation of hydraulic circuit diagrams, identifying parts, and understanding their functionality.
b) Verification of working pressures at critical points within a circuit, with accurate recording.
c) Efficient replacement of filter elements and associated seals within an operational system.
d) Evaluation of accumulator pre-charge pressures and comparison against specified levels.

Our program is designed to ensure that candidates not only gain theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills essential for effective hydraulic system maintenance and management.
