Spool Position Monitoring-Compact Directional Valves - Spool Position Sensor

The spool position sensor is designed to monitor the position of the control spool in directional CDV valves. Utilizing a contact-free Hall Effect sensor, it detects and tracks the movement of a permanent magnet mechanically linked to the spool. This movement is converted into an analog voltage signal by the electronic board through precise calculations. When one coil is energized, it moves the control spool and shifts the position of the permanent magnet, altering the magnetic field. The electronic board is encased in a non-magnetic plastic box, secured to the valve body with two screws, and shielded by a metallic cover to protect against electromagnetic interference. An anti-rotation device ensures the consistency of the readings. The sensor connector is a Molex Ultralock M12 5 PIN male.
This monitoring valve is an advanced hydraulic component designed to enhance the precision and reliability of fluid control systems. By continuously monitoring the position of the spool within the valve, this technology ensures accurate control of fluid flow and pressure, which is critical for the optimal performance of hydraulic machinery. The monitoring system provides real-time feedback, enabling immediate adjustments and reducing the risk of system failures or inefficiencies. This capability is particularly valuable in applications requiring high precision and safety, such as industrial automation, mobile hydraulics, and aerospace systems.
