Job Overview

Komatsu is a leading manufacturer of construction, mining, forestry, and industrial heavy equipment and operates eleven company-owned dealerships in the Eastern United States.  We currently have exciting opportunities for all levels of Service Technicians, from Mechanic Helpers to Senior Field and Service Technicians, to work out of our Winslow, NJ branch.   Operational knowledge and job site experience are a plus.  It is a Monday through Friday, day shift schedule. 

Key Job Responsibilities

Provide maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy construction equipment in the shop or field.
Document machine information and repairs in the work order system.
Maintain a clean work area and professional care of all machines, equipment, and shop tools.
Identify and communicate additional repair and maintenance opportunities to management to increase customer uptime.
Maintain technical and product knowledge of all equipment sold by the dealership.
Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training and meetings to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
Follow all safety policies and procedures while performing work assignments.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer support.
Qualifications/Requirements
High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree), Technical School/Technical College, or related work experience.
Proficiency in mechanical & electrical systems (engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, emissions components).
Good computer skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Maintain a sufficient tool inventory to perform assigned tasks.
CDL is a plus, but not required.
