Intern (m/f/d) Flow simulation of hydraulic turbines

Voith is actively seeking a skilled Intern (m/f/d) in Flow simulation of hydraulic turbines to join their dynamic team. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the preparation, execution, and evaluation of numerical flow simulations (CFD) in the area of hydraulic turbines.
• You provide support in selecting the meshing strategy, the numerical modeling, and the automation of post-processing.
• You analyze the characteristics of the turbine with respect to different operating ranges and compare the numerical results to measurements from real turbines or the in-house measurement lab.
• You will work with experts across disciplines in simulation, measuring technology, hydraulic design, and strength calculation
• Your work contributes to supporting the energy transition.
