Product Designer - Hydraulic and mechanical equipment for landing systems M/F

Safran is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Product Designer - Hydraulic and mechanical equipment for landing systems M/F to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals.  The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

The major actions you will have to perform within the remit of the role are:

•  Understand customer needs or the issues put to us and produce studies and 3D designs of technical solutions.
•  Provide input to development reviews, provide a contribution to the solution choice.
•  Contribute to the presentations of studies to the Customer, to the Technical Audit
•  Conduct detailed studies of the parts and assemblies by carrying out mechanical pre-dimensioning, the selection of technological components, the choice of materials and their protections.
•  Participate in the simultaneous engineering activities to ensure that structural, design and performance validation elements, industrial constraints (manufacturability, cost), eco-design are taken into consideration in developing optimal design.
•  Develop product nomenclatures, drawings
•  Develop and write design justifications (dimension chains, pre-dimensioning calculations, mass balances, …)
