Pipeline Hydraulics Engineer

Accountabilities:

• Take part in any training programs assigned to you with the objective of gaining experience and knowledge of Flow Improver Technology and developing technical competency.
• Provide technical expertise in the application of Flow Improver products while in pipeline operations, and provide technical assistance to the Flow Improver Sales Force.
• Provide hydraulic modelling knowledge of the customers pipeline in support of Flow Improver marketing initiatives.
• Provide advisory / consulting support to all of LSPI and customers regarding the flow improver technology and best application of LSPI products and services.
• Become proficient in the use of LSPI’s proprietary software for pipeline modelling and forecasting of product performance in customer pipelines.
• Manage and ensure LSPI’s proprietary modelling tools have relatively accurate and user-friendly features and functions.  Collaborate with I.S. staff to ensure fixes and enhancements are implemented in a timely manner.
• Become skilled in multi-phase flow that is relevant to the business.  Assist in guiding the best use of Flow Improver product in these applications.
• Assist with the analysis and correlation of all field test data for the purpose of continually improving the performance prediction equations for the various LSPI products.
