John Deere Broadens Its Range of Compact Wheel Loader Models in the P-Tier Category

In response to customer demands for more compact solutions that offer improved maneuverability, stability, and power, John Deere is expanding its Performance Tiering lineup by transitioning from L-Series to P-Tier for the 244, 324, and 344 Compact Wheel Loader models. The new P-Tier compact wheel loaders will retain all the features of the L-Series and will introduce new enhancements to productivity. These enhancements include standard ride control in base models and the option for factory-installed features such as an auto-reversing fan. Additionally, customers can choose from additional optional features, such as attachment assist controls that incorporate integrated electrical (three-pin) controls for attachments and a combined creep control and throttle lock.

P-Tier compact wheel loaders retain the exclusive Articulation Plus™ feature, which enhances rear-wheel steering to boost the full-turn tipping load and enhance maneuverability. This steering system combines the standard 30 degrees of articulation with an additional 10 degrees of rear-wheel steering. Articulation Plus also delivers a considerably higher full-turn tipping load compared to machines lacking this feature, as it reduces the need for extensive articulation during turns. Consequently, this attribute yields a significantly smaller turning radius when compared to loaders of similar size that do not incorporate Articulation Plus.
