To increase productivity and address the challenges of manual harvesting, Mya Bayin Sugar Mill (Mya Bayin) recently acquired a new Austoft 9000 through Yoma Heavy Equipment (YHE), the exclusive distributor of Case IH equipment in Myanmar. According to U Tun Lwin, general manager of Mya Bayin, the Austoft 9000 will allow the mill to sustainably harvest at optimal capacity even during the post-harvest period. "The harvesting season is lengthy and demands significant labor. With the Austoft 9000, our goal is to reduce the burden on our farm workers and efficiently harvest more than 15,000 tons during the remaining days of the post-harvest period.
