Header Tank Heat Exchangers

Bowman Header Tank Heat Exchangers were initially designed for marine engines, but they have also found extensive use in various land-based applications, including engine testing and development, generator sets, fire pumps, and combined heat and power (CHP) systems. These units feature a quiet zone header tank with a special deaeration feature and a pressurized filler cap. The removable tube stack, secured by 'O' rings, can expand and contract within the cast housing to minimize thermal stresses. This tube stack can be easily removed for cleaning if needed.
