High-performance, Lightweight Hydrogen Pressure Vessels and Tanks

Steelhead Composites hydrogen composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) and tanks are approximately 1/4 to 1/5 the weight of traditional tanks, are corrosion resistant, and have a useful life of up to 30 years.

We establish the benchmark for safe and efficient storage, transportation, and distribution of hydrogen. Our pressure vessels are constructed from seamless aluminum (Type III) or polymeric (Type IV) and are completely overwrapped with epoxy-impregnated carbon fiber composite.

Our pressure vessels are designed to perform in service from the bottom of the ocean to the far reaches of space for decades.
