Introducing the innovative Cat® 988 GC Wheel Loader, a solution that ensures dependable and efficient performance, enabling clients to efficiently move larger volumes of materials while maintaining a lower hourly expenditure, resulting in a quicker return on investment. Compared to the Cat 988K model, this new loader boasts an impressive up to 5% reduction in fuel consumption and up to 15% decrease in maintenance expenses.

          The 988 GC excels in performance with a bucket payload equivalent to the 988K model. Achieving productivity levels of up to 670 tonnes/hour (740 tons/hour) for shot rock truck loading and up to 527 tonnes/hour (581 tons/hour) for load-and-carry tasks delivers exceptional output. The loader's robust construction is engineered for multiple lifecycles and resilience against demanding loading conditions. Built on the foundation of the Cat Large Wheel Loader platform, its full box-section rear frame guarantees durability against torsional shocks and twisting forces. The redesigned front frame is also engineered to withstand heavier loads and features an innovative lift arm design.
