Accumulator Safety Block

The Safety Block is a consolidated unit encompassing all the necessary components for the convenient assembly and disassembly of the accumulator during servicing. To ensure pressure line safety, a relief valve is integrated, with the recommendation to employ a safety block for each accumulator. Operating on a shut-off principle akin to a ball valve, each safety block features ports for the pump's pressure line, accumulator connection, drainage, and attachment of a pressure gauge or remote pressure monitoring.
          It is crucial to refrain from using these safety blocks as flow control valves by keeping the handle in the intermittent position, limiting usage to the extreme positions of fully open or fully shut. For optimal performance, it is advisable to mount the safety block as close to the accumulator as possible. Our safety blocks come equipped with a manual discharge lever that establishes a connection between the accumulator and the tank. Upon request, we can also install electrically operated discharge valves.
