Accumulator Backup Bottle

A hydro-pneumatic accumulator serves the purpose of storing pressurized liquid by capitalizing on the compressibility of gases, as liquids are essentially incompressible. This is achieved by incorporating a flexible rubber bladder within the accumulator shell. Nitrogen, an inert gas, is introduced into the bladder through a pressure valve until it reaches a designated pressure, denoted as P. Consequently, the bladder expands, occupying the entire volume (V) of the accumulator shell.
