Field Service Technician - Straddle Carriers & RTG

Main tasks and responsibilities

Inspect and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify problems.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brake systems, and hydraulic controls.
Maintain equipment according to maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and troubleshoot safety systems, tires, and electronics.
Record and document maintenance activities for compliance and control.
Develop skills and knowledge of the organization's products and services.
Comply with all legal and company standards, such as the code of conduct and health and safety regulations.

What you need to succeed

  • No fear of heights and in good physical condition.
  • An A2 diploma in electromechanics or an equivalent level is required.
  • Good knowledge of electricity: be able to read schematics, detect errors, and make minor adjustments.
  • Experience with hydraulics and electronics.
  • Thorough knowledge of engines: maintenance and operation.
  • Customer-oriented with strong communication skills (good knowledge of Dutch is required).
  • Able to work in a team and be flexible.
  • Ability to work independently with a hands-on mentality.
  • Experience in the sector is an advantage.
