Regarding our opportunity

We encourage you to apply to become a full-time (40 hours a week), Heavy Equipment Operator I. The mission of this job is to drive many types of heavy equipment in support of the York County Public Works Road Maintenance departments; and perform routine maintenance and make minor equipment and machinery repairs. Experience in asphalt would be a definite asset!

This job is open until it is filled on a weekly review of applicants.

Work Schedule:  Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Or Tuesday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:30 with occasional overtime as needed.  Our crews have four (4) ten-hour shifts per week and 3-day weekends!!!
 
Projected Hiring Rate:  $20.20. Pay is based on qualifications.
