Calculation engineer CFD/FEM (m/f/d)

Job Type: FULL TIME 
Location: Aschaffenburg, Germany 
Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinating calculation tasks in collaboration with the design and testing departments.
• Performing calculations and simulations, including transient and static CFD, FEM, and 1-D system simulations.
• Collaborating closely with the testing department to compare results with measurement data.
• Presenting calculation and simulation results effectively.
• Effectively participating in the ongoing development of simulation tools in collaboration with software manufacturers.
• Providing support to the design team by conducting relevant calculations and simulations.
• Engaging in working groups and seminars focused on calculations in hydraulics.

Candidate Profile:

• Holds a degree in engineering, preferably in computational engineering or design and development.
• Possesses excellent knowledge of the calculation and simulation tools and a deep understanding of numerical and physical processes.
• Familiarity with hydraulic components and systems.
• Demonstrates a systematic, analytical, and highly independent work approach.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience in flow simulation.
• Familiarity with simulation software such as Simerics Pumplinx, AMESim, and Matlab.
