Role Overview:

           This advanced-level position entails the daily setup and operation of diverse machinery crucial for meeting the organization's production requirements.

Relationships within the Organization: 

          The role reports to the Production Supervisor and regularly interacts with fellow machinists and management. I want you to know that working with other staff members within the organization is essential to the responsibilities of this position.

Education and Experience:

  • Possession of a High School diploma.
  • Candidates with an Associate of Arts or Technical degree are preferred.
  • At least three years of previous experience in machine operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in CNC and Manual machining components and operations.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements outlined here are indicative of those necessary for an employee to effectively carry out the essential functions of this role.

  • While engaged in these responsibilities, individuals are routinely expected to walk, stand, sit, bend, climb stairs, kneel, or crouch. Proficiency in writing and computer usage, along with the operation of electronic devices and various hand and power tools, is essential.
  • Employees in this role may be required to regularly lift a minimum of 10 lbs. and occasionally handle loads up to 50 pounds. Physical exertion is expected during the performance of the aforementioned duties.
  • Execution of diverse physical tasks, such as climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching,    and prolonged standing, is integral. This also involves lifting boxes, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Adherence to mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a prerequisite.
  • Adaptability to a manufacturing environment, which may range from hot conditions in summer to cold conditions in winter.
  • Reasonable accommodations will be provided to ensure staff safety. Assistance will be extended if an employee encounters difficulty in completing a task.
