Mechanical Designer

Atlas Copco Group is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals.  The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Duties and Responsibilities 

•    Prepare engineering designs and drawings of machined components, welded fabrications, pipe layouts, and full assemblies of pumps in both SolidWorks & AutoCAD 
•    Prepare and release engineering documents including: bill of materials, and contract documents (Outline drawings, sectionals, inspection and test plans) 
•    Review and update pump layouts, engineering documents, and drawings for conformity and errors 
•    Develop/maintain current and new engineering standards in conjunction with the various engineering functions 
•    Select materials and components according to the project specifications 
•    Review contract requirements and customer specifications for compliance with the purchase order, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements 
•    Review pump design and sub-components, ensuring proper fit and design with customer specifications and compliance markings.
