Mechanical Design Engineer (EIC)

Quest Global is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. Job Specific Duties/Requirements.

• Conduct Hose/Tube design, Mounting structures/brackets design (competent to carry out complex design in Creo).
• Must have hands on iron experience with these components.
• Conduct hyd. Components placement based on the layout of the whole machine while also understanding of the hydraulic system/schematic and develop concepts to further assess and evaluate.
• Knowledgeable in hose/tube assembly routing, material properties and hose fittings.
• Ability to interpret hydraulic schematic in details and also troubleshoot hydraulic systems on machine.
• Support prototype, pilot, or production build and on-machine hydraulic system test as needed.
• Confirm stroke/actuator/pressure/hydraulics components selection & sizing.
• Conduct bolted joint analysis & Creo simulate or equivalent FEA analysis (Preferred).
• Competently employ design specific Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) steps.
• Have a key understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, engineering drawings, manufacturing process and
