Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the mechanical and component design from concept to detail. 
• Produce quality 3D models from concept designs. 
• Work closely with the virtual analysis team; improve designs based on the FEA results to meet all functionality. 
• Select geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and carry out tolerance stack-up analysis. 
• Have a comprehensive understanding of the cost structures of components and accept responsibility for design efforts relating to cost reduction. 
• Create detailed 2D drawings in compliance with company standards.
• Regularly and consistently manage technical documentation in the PLM system. 
• Consistently adhere to all product development processes.
• Assist internal customers with respect to resolving PLM system-related matters. 
• Review and check drawings as assigned by the product department.
