Forklift Operator

City Beach is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You are responsible for ensuring that mobile plant is safely operated, as required by the traffic management plan.
• You are to handle product with care so that items are reasonably placed into cartons /s totes, safely and securely.
• You are to have attention to detail to ensure correct inventory control.
• You will follow the directions given by an RF scanner and will be able to distinguish product types and barcodes.
• You will ensure quality control of the product you are handling.
• You will make sure orders are packed to City Beach Standards so they are delivered to our stores or customers and arrive in perfect condition.
• You will be required to use equipment including :

Picking trolleys;

Box cutters;

Handheld tape dispensers;

Pallet jacks;

Pallet wrap;

and

Other equipment as required.
