Service Technician II

Komatsu is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician II to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintenance, repair, service and inspection of the mining equipment.The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Key Job Duties

• Maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of the mining machinery
• Capable of diagnosing Mechanical, Hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Adjust, repair, or replace all faulty equipment parts, components, or systems serviced at customer locations
• Test the repaired equipment for satisfactory performance
• Equivalent to full full-accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft, or occupation; or equivalent to one year of technical college training.
• Motor control experience, installation of circuits, reading and interpreting schematics, PLCs, Digital Drives, and overall troubleshooting
• Knowledge on aligning couples on gearboxes, transfer cases, and motors
