HGV Technician

TCR is actively seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals.  The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on customer vehicles and equipment while complying with Health & Safety initiatives.
• Respond to breakdowns within the required response times.
• Complete relevant service sheets, job cards and electronic records according to site policy and procedures.
• Provide compliance status of jobs and communicate with Workshop Office colleagues.
• Comply with Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures issued under this legislation, including the use of PPE.
• Keep the workshop in an orderly and clean state and tidy areas for customers.
• Use company vehicles in accordance with company and legal policy.
• Manoeuvre company vehicles around site where qualified and trained to do so.
• Report accidents on site, near misses and anything considered a hazard to the appropriate person.
