Hydraulic System Engineer

Caterpillar is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic System Engineer to join their dynamic team. Job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Development of hydraulic system for Construction products Competent Hydraulic Component Sizing, Selection and performance study to meet machine level requirements, knowledge of machine hydraulics considerations, and integration Competent at conducting Concept and Detailed Design Reviews with Engineering teams Competent conducting competitive assessments at Component level & System level Be involved in sourcing strategy and work closely with hydraulic component suppliers Competent in performing hydraulic design calculations and VA/VE and Risk Assessment Competently provides detailed interpretation of hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot on field issue Competent in developing certified component validation plan and working with CFT team to execute within timeline
