Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator, Dozer, Loader

MasTec Civil Equipment Operator is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator, Dozer, Loader to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about operating and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in industrial services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Responsibilities

• Should be able to show competence in handling, pre-start checks, post-start checks, maneuvering skills, shut down and securing procedures.
• Should be able to work different shifts in a team setting.  Team activities include responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day operation of the team as well as with senior management who are engaged running the project.
• Must conduct daily operations and safety check of the equipment. Inspect per documented checklist, check whether any parts have failed, document any deficiencies, and make necessary minor repairs on the equipment.
• Must report all damages or breakdowns to the Supervisor and the Fleet Department accurately.
