Volvo is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Disassembly & Cleaning Technician to join their dynamic team. Job Duties

  • Removing, cleaning, and installing crankshafts, cylinder kits, cylinder heads, valve adjustments and other components.
  • Removing, cleaning, and assembling transmission, shafts, clutches, control valves, and gears.
  • Following the final assembly, and testing of the engines, painting and final inspection.
  • Respect of modes of operations/standards, focus on quality following the work instructions and the operational modes that we've defined.
  • Encourage salvaging parts whenever possible during any stage of the production process, exhibit care in the use of natural resources (energy) by turning off lights and computers regularly, and at the end of shifts, and using proper amounts of chemicals to reduce unnecessary waste. 
  • Achieve daily production targets, without losses, and delivery impacts.
  • Maintain the production standard, without anomalies to the product/process, while ensuring reliability & consistence in carrying out the work.
  • Providing suggestions for improvements, supporting the areas Key Performance Indicator, and adding to cost savings.
