Duties

Operation of Excavator

Works excavator, which digs trenches and holes and cuts and loads earth, gravel, and dumps ore, rock. gravel, and industrial waste, and other such materials in dump trucks or stockpiles and hauls them away. Cranks up engine, travels hand and foot levers to manipulate hydraulic shovel or other attachments. Operates bucket to dig trenches and holes of predetermined length, depth, and width, load loosened material and place in piles or haul away trucks. May be required to understand and operate GPS grade technology on this machine.
