PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Supervised and Hands-on involvement in troubleshooting & preventive maintenance for, utility equipment. Air Compressor, Chiller, Water Treatment, Boilers, Hot oil system, Scrubber, AHU, HVAC system CIP system, Dust Extraction System, Industrial Trucks.
  • Operation and Maintenance of water pumps, electric motors, and chemical feed machines; read various charts, graphs, gauges, and meters.
  • Read electrical power, control circuit drawings & SLD, Safety in handling of LT & HT Switch gears, 
  • MCC panel maint. Preferably ETP, HVAC, Compressed air plant, predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Repair and Air balancing.Air Cool and Water Cool central unit
  • Operation and Maintenance of Utility systems including Thermic Fluid Heaters, Boiler, Air
  • Compressors, colling Tower pumps, Diesel Generators, Firefighting Pump station.
  • Maintenance of process equipment (Hygiene processing industry), PHE, Conveyor belts
    understanding in distribution power, control wiring & PLC wiring. Good Knowledge of instruments & ability to understand logic (Control Philosophy), Ability to read P&ID,
    Spare Parts Management, Knowledge of work permit systems & electrical safety standards, ISO and Customer
  • Audit Documentation work
  • Perform preventative maintenance service to machinery and equipment in a timely manner in line with the planning communicated by the Manager.
  • Check for problems on the equipment and/or infrastructure and organize the work, following the diagnosis of the problems found and estimated time to repair.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic assemblies, by diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Identifies potential equipment failures and takes preventive action.
  • Propose solutions for improvement of the production tools
  • Document maintenance repairs performed (e.g. complete worksheets, check the water meters) and complete technical records (e.g. managing technical documentation, executing electrical and mechanical drawings)
  • Carry out all operations in compliance with all legal and Company policies and procedures, regarding EHS, storage, and housekeeping.
  • Guide, train, and supervise technicians in executing maintenance tasks.

  • Minimum Requirements
  • Certificate in BSc Electrical Engineering
  • 7-9 years’ experience in a similar role Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and Mechanical.
  • Knowledge in 5S & Food safety, ISO Documentation knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience in, utility equipment. Air Compressor, Chiller, Water Treatment, Boiler, Hot oil system, Scrubber, AHU, CIP system, Dust Extraction System. Experience in process equipment (Hygiene processing industry) is an added advantage.
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical equipment drawings also to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues
  • Able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams and P&ID for various processes
    on call during weekends in case of emergencies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in working pharma / Food industry. 
  • Having an Electrical Supervisor’s License would be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, willing to improve systems and adapt to new technologies.
  • Be able to respond to demands and make decisions in a short period.
  • Team-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  •  Must have organizational skills

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • Handling some corrosive chemicals or working with risky devices
  • Exposure to hazardous conditions (e.g. high temperatures, projections, chemical vapors)
