The Job You Will Perform:

Coordinates and manages the finished product inventories.  Required to drive lift as needed to move product from one area to the other.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in this document
Drivers of mobile equipment must be qualified and licensed.
Must have a working knowledge of equipment operation.
**Learn how to recognize malfunctions of equipment, i.e., overheating, rough-running engine, and odd noises.
Abide by all Safety rules, General and specific rules.  Review lift accident reporting procedure.
Perform routine pre-shift checks on oil levels, water levels, propane levels, hydraulic fluid, lights, and horns.
Maintain equipment, i.e., blowout radiator, clean engine, and outer surfaces as required by preventative maintenance schedule.
Starts the engine, shifts gears presses the pedals, and turns the steering wheel to operate the loader.
Moves levers to lower and tilt blades and drives front end loader forward to place blades into bulk material.
Moves levers to raise and tilt blades when loaded, drives the vehicle to the work site, and moves levers to stack material.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Candidate must have the ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; the ability to use basic math
  • Candidate must have the ability to safely operate a forklift truck and clamp truck; and the ability to accurately use the scale.
  • Candidate must also demonstrate a sincere interest and desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate must have the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of the team. A proven leader, goal-oriented, self-starter, good communicator, and computer literate.
  • Candidate must have a firm understanding of driving safety culture and adhering to corporate and human resources policy.
