Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the support of projects, maintenance, repair, modification and expansion of the installations for the benefit of the laboratories.
Function
•  Identifies relevant Chevron Engineering Standards (CES) and national rules and regulations applicable to the project.
•  Assures project engineering deliverables from EP / vendor / construction contractors meets expectations for mechanical integrity and quality, engaging proactively in design/model reviews, Process Safety and Health & Safety (PSM/HSE) evaluations and constructability reviews.
•  Provides engineering expertise for development and evaluation of scope solution alternatives based on the results of engineering/other studies.
•  Applies broad knowledge of mechanical engineering discipline to define engineering work scope and instructions for process or equipment installation, repair, or modification.
•  Provides counsel and advice to operations and maintenance personnel on the engineering aspects of equipment and plants, including operational troubleshooting.
•  Leads technical efforts in design for reliability with reliability action plan, permitting plan, preparation of project documentation for pre-safety startup review and final transfer of project information to asset teams.
•  Prepare work engineering packs and OE/HES requirements for the executed work and communicate requirements to all involved in the execution of work.
•   In all activities focus on most cost-effective solutions, both for current situation and over equipment-/asset lifetime.
Profile
•   Minimum bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
•   1 -5 years relevant work experience
•   Self-starter who comes up with solutions for identified issues and takes initiatives
•   Chevron Way behaviors

•   Knowledge of agile and scrum project methodology
•   Project experience or interest
•   SAP is a pre
•   Good consulting skills and strong in stakeholder management
