Mobile Equipment Operator

So, what will you be doing?   

In this position, you will operate a log crane, chipper/debarker, and/or mobile equipment for a wood pellet production facility.  It also involves equipment maintenance and administrative tasks to assist with Wood Yard operations.   

The primary responsibilities and tasks are:

• Should be capable of running & maintaining equipment such as log cranes, wheel loaders, knucklebooms, skid steer and man lift.
• Cross-trained on all heavy equipment operation relevant to job duties as needed.
• Demonstrated capability to properly anticipate and diagnose issues and perform routine or PM maintenance
• Execute routine administrative tasks and use checklists to maintain routine inventory and production reports.
• Carries out housekeeping tasks as instructed, is tasked with maintaining assigned area free from safety hazards and clean
