Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other machinery.
  • Regular inspections are conducted to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site support to foreman and operators.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and field employees to explain repairs and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a technical degree or certification in heavy equipment maintenance, is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
