Our engineering team is a group of individuals who take pride in ensuring our vessels are not only the safest but also provide a quality experience for our passengers. We are looking for individuals to join our team of Vessel Engineers who are willing to dedicate themselves and pay attention to detail in their work.

Diesel Mechanics perform routine maintenance on our fleet as directed by the Port Engineer. They also inspect vessels for repair and maintenance standards and procedures, working with other company engineers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintaining diesel engines; knowledge of hydraulic systems, and electrical HVA systems a plus
  • Ability to repair marine equipment on site under adverse conditions at times
  • Ability to interact with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications
  • Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance
  • Ability to interact professionally with all departments
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Job Conditions and Environment:
This job requires the ability to travel between our ports and receive emergency repair calls after hours. Weekend work is required. The work may occur under adverse weather conditions. Travel may be involved in certain projects. It also requires the ability to fit into tight-fitting spaces for repair work.
