Space-Saving Pressure Transducer

Gefran Unveils a Space-Saving Pressure Transducer Designed for High-Pressure Environments

Space-Saving Pressure Transducer

Gefran engineered the KM industrial pressure transducers to be more compact than their KH transducer counterparts. The KM series is characterized by a stainless steel housing that measures less than 52 mm long and has a hex diameter of 19 mm. Additionally, it weighs under 2 oz. These reductions in size and weight facilitate seamless integration, especially in applications with limited space.
Despite its small size, the KM transducer boasts enhanced operational and safety attributes. Gefran asserts that it holds the highest environmental rating at IP69K, a PL’d certification for mechanics, and a cULus certification to satisfy U.S. and Canadian standards. The transducer now comes with an expanded voltage supply range of 8-32V and electromagnetic (EMC) stability, capable of enduring interference of up to 100 V/m. Furthermore, it exhibits robust shock resistance of up to 100g and vibration resistance of up to 20g, ensuring its durability in diverse challenging environments. Gefran's transducer is suitable for deployment in a variety of high-pressure mobile and industrial fluid power applications, including hydraulic tools like torque wrenches, and hydraulic accumulators, as well as clamping and jacking systems.
