PMC Hydraulics Group invests further in India and acquires remaining shares in Hydroquip Hydraulics

PMC Hydraulics Group, a leading Nordic provider of hydraulic systems and components, has fully acquired Hydroquip Hydraulics in Bangalore, India. This strategic move, completed in July 2024, follows previous share acquisitions in 2011 and 2021. Hydroquip, established in 1996, distributes hydraulic components for renowned brands like Kawasaki Precision Machinery and Sun Hydraulics, and also specializes in designing and manufacturing customized manifolds and computerized test stands.

The acquisition underscores PMC's commitment to expanding its footprint in India and enhancing its capabilities in the hydraulic industry. Mikael Lundgren, VP of Fluid Power Technology at Dacke Industri, the parent company of PMC, highlighted the importance of this acquisition for sustainable development and innovation. A.K. Kamam, Managing Director of Hydroquip, expressed optimism about continuing operations under PMC’s ownership, emphasizing the benefits of their longstanding collaboration.
