Mechanical Assembler 1

The Marvin Group is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assembler 1 to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

DUTIES:

• Align and fit subassemblies and structures by installing and connecting parts, fittings, or assemblies.
• Install fasteners including bolts, screws, rivets, rivnuts, helicoils, keenserts, and adhesives.
• Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers, etc.
• Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of hand drilling and riveting equipment (Cherry & Huck).
• Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures using measuring instruments and comply with blueprint lines and index points.
• Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations, and specifications in order to determine layouts, sequences of operations, or identities and relationships of parts.
