Forklift Operator

Koch Company is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to their operations' safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

What You Will Do

• Operate forklifts and/or other equipment safely by performing tasks like pre-operating inspection, loading/unloading barges, product movement within the warehouse, and stacking at heights ranging from 10 – 18 feet.
• Be in support of our stringent observation of a secure working atmosphere through wearing suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Use hand tools and machinery while occasionally manipulating product weights of up to 50 pounds.
• Use computer terminal/tablet equipment to receive work assignments, perform those assignments as instructed, and deliver correct counts of completed goods.
• Drive a forklift with a lift capacity of 7,000 pounds for 10+ hours a day using multiple attachments to transport merchandise like forks, grabs, clamps, and push-pull attachments.
