Forklift Driver

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about maintaining and operating a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to their operations' safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drives a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Drives the wrapping equipment when needed
• Maintains stock and materials in an orderly manner.
• Completes materials received and removed from trucks.
• Pulls jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags, and counts on materials shipped or received.
• Helps other shipping and receiving material handlers to even out the workload, set up warehouses, and do general cleaning.
• Maintains rules and procedures as they pertain to the safe and effective use of the forklift, as well as reporting any lost, damaged, bent, or worn forklift parts to the supervisor and/or maintenance.
• Notifies anyone of obvious defects in incoming material.
• Complies with all safety and work rules, company policies, and procedures.
