Senior Coastal Hydraulic Engineer

Kiewit is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Coastal Hydraulic Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Responsibilities

•    Be Kiewit's ambassador of coastal hydraulic engineering, fostering a strong and trusting relationship with other operating districts performing Marine, Ports, Maritime, and Coast projects in Canada and the USA.
•    Conducting work on early engineering designs and EPC/design-build pursuits and projects; creating design recommendations and generating design deliverables; acting as lead coastal/hydraulic engineer and engineer of record with accountability for design recommendations and deliverables.
•    Validating designs are finished with consistent use of design standards, technical methods, and in line with the design quality management program.
•   Getting supervision for subconsultant-supported work and ensuring that all internal procedures of quality and standard are incorporated into designs.
•    Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on interdisciplinary pursuit teams tasked with producing innovative and low-cost bid phase designs, pinpointing principal metocean and hydraulic design uncertainties, and drafting plans for how to overcome such uncertainties.
