Vehicle Maintenance Technician

DP World is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to their operations' safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

How will you contribute? 

• To successfully execute preventive maintenance and repair works to a competent standard, ensuring that we meet company and regulatory standards, with minimum downtime.  (This may include Electrical duties)
• To collect data/information as we work on any asset to provide to the Engineering Planners
• To manage and supervise contractors when they are delivering and commissioning equipment or when working on any asset, ensuring safe working practices are being followed.
• To assist in developing, improving, and updating method statements and risk assessments for any preventive maintenance or repairs completed on any asset
• To lead by example and encourage others to adopt and improve on safe working practices
• To work closely with the stores and Asset Managers to maintain stores and stock levels.
