Forklift Mechanic Lead

Shamrock Foods Company is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Mechanic Lead to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reads work orders and observes and listens to the truck in operation to identify malfunctions, defects, and plan work procedures
• Disassembles, inspects, and evaluates for repairs; repairs and rebuilds defective parts of electric, propane, or gasoline-powered industrial equipment to include, but not limited the following components: ignition systems, front wheel alignments, power trains, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
• Operates metal working machines, such as a lathe, a milling machine, a punch press, and fabricates housings, fittings, jigs, and fixtures, and verifies dimensions
• Tests assembled instruments and checks for circuit continuity and operational reliability; repairs (or replaces) electrical components such a resistors, capacitors, solenoids, and other various electronic components
• Conditions for changes/discharging batteries
