Electro Maintenance Technician

Alcon is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Electro Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

In this position, the typical day will include the following tasks:

1. Troubleshooting, repair and preventative and corrective maintenance on all production equipment including technical troubleshooting on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and controls.

2. Assist team members with technical troubleshooting including production personnel.

3. Assist in repair shop to rebuild and restore used parts to a an "as built" condition contributing to the annual cost avoidance total.

4. Assist with making improvements to the maintenance systems (Preventative, Corrective, Predictive, and Spare Parts).

5. Assist with technical projects for equipment retrofits and upgrades, and reviewing or writing SOPs and shop repair instructions.

6. Optimize the use of manufacturing equipment and processes to realize balanced outcomes in product quality, output, yield, and cost reduction.

7. Assist with completing validation protocols.
