NAFFCO is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Engineer (Fire Trucks) to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:

Create hydraulic designs for fire trucks, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and other necessary components.
Create hydraulic schematics, and diagrams from technical specifications, and requirements for fire truck applications.
Collaborate with engineers of other disciplines to incorporate hydraulic systems with other fire truck related systems such as water pumps, aerial ladders, and rescue equipment.

2. System Testing & Validation:

Conduct testing of hydraulic systems to ensure they meet safety and performance specifications.
Use simulations, troubleshooting, and changes to test and improve the operating efficiency and durability of hydraulic systems and components in real-world conditions.
Investigate failures of hydraulic systems and provide advice and recommendations from testing.

3. Maintenance & Support:

Provide ongoing maintenance, diagnostics support and troubleshooting for hydraulic systems in the fire trucks, in-operation.
Support Service technicians with technical assistance to resolve hydraulic issues that may arise in the routine maintenance and/or repair of fire trucks.
Ensure all hydraulic systems are compliant with safety regulations and industry standards.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure hydraulic systems comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental specifications.
Create technical documentation and reports for internal and client presentation.
