Field Service Technician - Heavy Equipment

What You Will Be Doing:

Field Service Technician is a combination of customer service and technical support. The Field Service Technician is a well-respected position at Viably being a vital part of our customers' success. This position involves daily travel within the Central California and/or Southern California region, and periodic travel across North America for training and event assistance.   As a Field Service Technician, you will conduct regular maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting to a variety of mobile and fixed waste and recycling equipment.  You will deliver telephone technical assistance, as well as on-site maintenance and operation training to customers. We are a team that believes in teamwork, trust, and ongoing improvement. In our company, the Field Service Technician position contributes to the enhancement of our customer relationships by building valuable customer experiences through the high-quality service they deliver.

As a Field Service Technician, you will require in field experience and a distinct set of skills encompassing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment familiarity. As a technician in this position, the candidate needs to have solid time management, be a customer service enthusiast with the ability to multitask while using a methodical, attention-to-detail focus for work tasks. You will use software programs efficiently in this position, such as our ERP platform Acumatica and the TrueContent Forms reporting tool.
