Industrial Application Engineer

Danfoss's Industrial Division seeks a motivated and proactive Application Engineer to join our team in the Americas. The role of the application engineering team within the division is pivotal in enhancing Danfoss's position as an industry leader in industrial market system solutions, both internally and externally. The success of the division, including sales growth and market share, heavily relies on their contributions. The Application Engineer will report to the Industrial Americas AE Manager.

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of direct customer interaction experience in hydraulics.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to travel within the Americas region, estimated between 10-50%.
• Eligibility to work legally in the United States

This involves influencing specifications, applying our products, managing projects, and providing technical support both internally and externally. It's essential to maintain a comprehensive understanding of our systems, solutions, products, markets, platforms, applications, and value propositions. By developing expertise, we can effectively disseminate technical knowledge through various mediums such as white papers, webinars, and publications. Additionally, we interpret customer needs and translate them into technical requirements, including drawings, specifications, and written documentation for complete systems.
