Hydraulic Mechanic

Hydraulex represents a collective of Hydraulic Repair Companies, including Attica Hydraulic Exchange, Flint Hydrostatics, Hydraulic Repair and Design, and Metaris Hydraulics. Our expertise lies in repairing and supplying Remanufactured, Aftermarket, and OEM hydraulic units and components. Our focus extends to various industrial sectors such as paper mills, saw mills, steel mills, recycling plants, oil & gas industries, as well as mobile applications encompassing construction, utility, mining, agriculture, and marine equipment. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems in various machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble pumps, motors, valves, controls, and subassemblies using specified parts and components in a manner that is both cost-effective and adherent to installation and performance standards.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting procedures to identify and rectify any issues with hydraulic systems. Adhere strictly to standard work instructions to maintain consistency and quality in repairs.
• Provide specialized technical training to colleagues within the department to enhance their skill set.
• Assist in the quoting process for repair services.
• Configure work orders accurately to ensure efficient repair operations.
• Offer technical support to other departments such as Remanufacturing and Quote for Repair.

Your Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Prior experience with hydraulic components is advantageous.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply practical understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Keen attention to detail is crucial.
