We are in search of a Valve Assembly Technician who will collaborate with the Operations and Service team to manufacture top-notch hydraulic power units and various assemblies for our clientele. We are looking for individuals capable of interpreting technical drawings, as well as written and verbal directives, to design and construct bespoke projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assembling and testing hydraulic components using SYSTEC+ or build sheets
  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic components as needed
  • Conducting performance tests on pumps, motors, and valves using a hydraulic test bench
  • Learning and performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of hydraulic components
  • Engraving new model code plates for assembled or repaired components
  • Providing positive support to the company and assisting customers when required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in assembly areas
  • Occasional travel to customer sites or for corporate learning purposes (Germany or Charlotte, NC)

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mechanics and mechanical operations
  • Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics and blueprints
  • Basic proficiency in Windows-based computer skills and MS Office
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and reasoning abilities
  • Self-driven with a commitment to delivering quality service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in valve assembly
  • Experience in engraving and code usage for at least 2 years
  • Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics
  • Background in Fluid Power education or related field
