Danfoss is seeking a Workshop Hydraulic Technician to become a part of our varied team located in Huntingwood, Sydney. As a Workshop Hydraulic Technician, your duties will encompass assembly, conversion, overhaul, and testing of components, ensuring all tasks are completed to a superior standard of quality and safety, while also adhering to designated timelines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The responsibilities for this role encompass, but are not restricted to, the following:
  • Assemble hydraulic and mechanical components following internal processes and procedures.
  • Conduct testing and provide reports on the work performed.
  • Ensure timely production of all builds and meet customer satisfaction standards.
  • Operate workshop equipment including power tools, drills, lathes, etc.
  • Maintain and process all job file documentation promptly.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 processes and procedures

Background & Skills:

  • The preferred candidate should demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Holds a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or has relevant working experience in a hydraulics or mechanical setting.
  • Previous experience in hydraulic component repair is advantageous.
  • Capability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Displays a positive attitude and eagerness to acquire new knowledge.
  • Possesses basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrates effective communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Exhibits a high level of attention to detail.
